Cross-Stitch Birth Announcement? Check!

After (almost) a year and a half, I have completed M's cross-stitch birth announcement.  I should have finished it long ago.  Memo to me:  Don't save all the less fun parts for the end!


So, here it is in all its glory.  Well, all of its glory minus the actual info about my baby girl.  ;)


And, a couple of close-ups...




The frame was actually kinda ugly and black, but thanks to some 'ballet slipper' (pink) spray paint, it's looking cute and fabulous.  :)

It feels AWESOME to finally check this off my list!  Next, I need to finish the tie-backs for her curtains.  :)

    it is so nice.. I am becoming an aunt... same question.. where can i get a copy of the pattern? or what Brand name, or from what book? is sooo nice..
